Laxman, who owns the production house Dream Makers UK 5, had earlier produced SJ Suryah-Nayantara starrer, ‘Kalvanin Kadhali’. And now, he has taken on the greasepaint himself, to play hero in his forthcoming flick, ‘Aandavan Kattalai’. Akkarshana will play the love interest of the hero cum producer of this film, which deals with faith in god. Faith and belief can itself work miracles is the subject that has been given special treatment through this film, which is also being directed by Laxman himself.

A championship winner in kick boxing, Philip, will co produce the film, which has music by a music college professor, Prem Kumar. The film’s title has been borrowed from the producers of the original film by that name, PSV Hariharan (son and heir to PS Veerappa, who had the title rights), who was more than willing to see his title being reused.

Velmurugan, who has worked in ‘Karthik Anitha’, will do the cinematography for this film.
